The 2025 admission campaign clearly shows the interest of applicants in the leading university of the region. Yesterday's schoolchildren bring documents for admission to the admissions committee of Penza State University in the hope of becoming part of the close-knit team of students of the Sura region. More than 12 thousand processed applications is a figure that speaks for itself.

But it is not only Russian schoolchildren who dream of becoming students at PSU. Students of the Pre-University Training Department of the Institute of International Cooperation also bring their documents. They diligently studied Russian for six months in order to be able to master the educational programme and receive diplomas of highly qualified specialists.

Chabota Musanje from Zambia has been studying at PSU for six months now: she studied Russian, got acquainted with the culture and got used to the Russian frosts. The girl followed in the footsteps of her older sister. Abigail, a second-year student at the Medical Institute, was the first in the family to decide to get an education in Russia. During her studies at the Pre-University Training Department, Chabota took part in the University's international beauty contest "Folk Queen" and even became its winner.

The Zambian beauty brought her documents to the admissions office to enroll in the study field of General Medicine. The girl tells about her decision: "I really wanted not just to study, but also in another country, where I could learn a lot of new things, get acquainted with another culture, learn another additional language and get an education that is highly valued in my homeland. Russian education is one of the few that can safely be called world-class education. Everything is important here: the desire of teachers to become guides to the world of knowledge, and the good material base of medical institutes, and the recognition of education received in Russia on the African continent. At the Medical Institute of PSU, I will have the opportunity to get the profession I have been dreaming of in six years and find friends."

Let us remind you that about three thousand students from 50 countries of the world study at PSU.

You can submit documents to the Admissions Committee in three ways: in person (Penza, Krasnaya St., Building 8), through a postal operator, through the State Services portal (Gosuslugi).
