Graduates of the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language received PSU diplomas

On July 22, a ceremony was held to award diplomas to graduates of the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language of the Institute of International Cooperation, PSU, who took the programmes 45.03.02 "Linguistics. Theory and Practice of Intercultural Communication" (bachelor's degree) and 45.04.01 "Philology. Russian as a Foreign Language (master's degree).

Bachelor's degree diplomas were awarded to students from China and Tajikistan, and master's degree diplomas were awarded to students from China, Indonesia and Vietnam. Inomzhonova Makhina, Li Shutian, Liu Junchen, Hu Yan and Dimas Ade Chandra received diplomas with honors.

Gleb Sintsov, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Director of the Institute of International Cooperation, Olga Barabash, Head of the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language; Adel Maqbol, Chairperson of the International Students Association of the Penza Region and teachers congratulated the graduates and wished them further success.

"I congratulate you on graduating from the university and invite you to continue your education at PSU and take the master's degree and postgraduate programmes," Gleb Sintsov addressed the graduates.

"We hope that the Russian language will become a support for you in your professional activities and that you will take back to your home country not only knowledge of the Russian language and Russian culture, but also a piece of the Russian soul," Olga Barabash noted.

A video conference connection was organized for the graduates' relatives and friends.

The graduates expressed their gratitude to the PSU administration and teachers. The students prepared touching creative performances for the guests of the event: songs in Russian, Chinese and Indonesian languages and video memories of their student years.
