Kirill Plotnikov, Head of the Department of Foreign Student Accommodation of the International Education Office, the Institute of International Cooperation, was tasked with organizing entrance examinations and conducting career guidance meetings with applicants and their parents in India.

"We are proud of our fruitful collaboration with Chevalier Group, led by Director Yuvraaj Solanki, in providing educational services and supporting the study and accommodation of Indian students at PSU. Over the past 12 years, we have already achieved impressive results, but in my view, there remains enormous potential for further joint activities,"
commented Gleb Sintsov, Vice-Rector for International Affairs at PSU.

Entrance examinations were held in five cities where PSU is traditionally popular among Indian applicants: Ahmedabad, Indore, Vadodara, Bangalore, and Surat.

"In addition to the high level of education, prospective students and their parents are attracted by the unique ecosystem created by the Institute of International Cooperation and Chevalier Group for students from India. Comfortable living conditions, specialized dining facilities, cultural and social events, and support with training and immigration procedures—all of this allows Indian students to effectively achieve their goal of becoming accredited medical professionals in their home country,"
shared Kirill Plotnikov.

During the exams, meetings with parents of applicants were held in all cities under the leadership of Pradeepkumar Solanki, President of the Association of Parents of Students Studying in Russia. He noted the high level of organization of education and accommodation in halls of residence for Indian students and conveyed his gratitude to PSU Rector Aleksandr Guliakov and the university's faculty and staff.

Margi Parikh, a 2019 graduate of PSU, the first president of the Indian Students' Association at PSU, and a candidate for the title of Ambassador of Russian Education Abroad, addressed prospective students in Vadodara. Margi spoke fondly of her years at the university, the intensive educational programme, and her social activities. She also praised the prospective students for their choice to study at the leading university in the Penza region.

In Surat, Rohit Patil, a 2019 graduate of Penza State University, spoke to prospective students and shared his success story. After completing his studies at Penza State University, he and his father successfully developed a network of family clinics, where he both manages and practices as a physician. Rohit noted that there are currently 600 doctors trained at Penza State University working in India. He wished future students success in their studies at Penza State University.

"PSU graduates demonstrate excellent results in the examination to validate their medical education obtained abroad, the so-called screening test. Currently, the percentage of successful screening test recipients among all Indian PSU graduates is 77%. We achieved this result thanks to a unique joint system of student preparation already during the university's academic years," noted Yuvraaj Solanki, Director of Chevalier Group.

Sergey Ivanchin, Head of the International Education Office at the Institute of International Cooperation, reported that approximately 700 Indian students are currently studying at PSU. Based on the results of the admissions committee's work, the number of Indian students this year is expected to increase to 150. This brings the total number of Indian students to over 800.
