On 29 September, trainees of the Pre-University Training Office at PSU took part in the Student Tourism in Motion campaign, dedicated to World Tourism Day30.09.2025 11:32
The excursion plan had been drawn up in advance and followed a route that included places of cultural, educational, and popular science interest. During the excursion, the guide told the trainees about the most culturally and historically significant landmarks of Penza, namely the First Settlement Monument, Penza State Local History Museum, Spassky Cathedral, and others. «We instantly agreed to participate in the campaign, because it is a great opportunity to showcase the potential of the student tourism and cultural exchange in our region for international students. Moreover, joint excursions and the introduction of the university’s student activists are an effective way to help students adapt to the new environment more smoothly,» noted Gleb Sintsov, Vice-Rector for International Affairs at Penza State University.
