PSU international students from Arab countries become certified pharmacists
On September 5, Penza State University held a diploma award ceremony for Arab graduates majoring in Pharmacy using English as the intermediary language. This was the debut graduation of international pharmacy students from Morocco and Egypt.
In his welcoming speech, Gleb Sintsov, Vice-Rector for International Affairs of PSU, congratulated the graduates on their successful completion of the university:
"Despite the fact that this is the first graduation of pharmacists, you have all distinguished yourself in one way or another during your studies. Among you there is a holder of diploma with distinction, and activists in the creative and social life of the university. I believe that this alone indicates that there are specialists with a great professional future here, and perhaps even future ministers of states friendly to us. I readily believe this, PSU has already had such experience."
Traditionally, the graduates were congratulated by their teachers and staff of the Institute of International Cooperation. At the end of the diploma award ceremony, the graduates took the doctor's oath.
