DESCRIPTION
The main aim of the programme is the formation of universal, general professional competences in
students, preparing graduates for activities in the development of software for computer technology and automated systems using elements of artificial intelligence. The implementation of this aim should ensure that students master the basic methods and tools for designing computer software, methods and tools for using artificial intelligence systems, and acquire skills in practical work with objects of professional activity.
AIMS
project activity:
• collecting and analysing detailed information to formalize the subject area of the project and requirements of customer users, interviewing key employees of the customer;
• forming and analysing requirements for software for computer technology and automated systems using elements of artificial intelligence;
• modelling applied and information processes;
• drawing up technical economic justification of design solutions and terms of reference for developing software for computer technology and automated systems using elements of artificial intelligence;
• designing information systems by type of provision;
• programming applications, creating prototypes of software for computer technology and automated systems using elements of artificial intelligence.
engineering and manufacturing activity:
• carrying out work on installation and configuration of software for computer equipment and automated systems;
• keeping technical documentation;
• initial training and consulting users by on issues of operating software for computer technology and automated systems using elements of artificial intelligence;
• technical maintenance of information systems in the process of their operation.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
On successful completion of the course the student should be able to:
• design intelligent software to solve practical problems;
• use artificial intelligence systems to solve problems of analysis, forecasting, planning, synthesis and decision making;
• use artificial intelligence systems based on neural network models and methods;
• use one or more end to-end digital AI sub-technologies;
• participate in the process of creating artificial intelligence systems at various stages of the life cycle as an expert and key user;
• collect and prepare data for artificial intelligence systems.
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
The professional activity for which graduates who have mastered the bachelor's degree programme are prepared is the development of software requirements, design, programming, debugging, operation and administration of computer software and automated systems using elements of artificial intelligence.
