DESCRIPTION
The program's mission is to provide training for specialists capable of developing and implementing a comprehensive document management programme for organisations of any form of ownership and field of activity, to monitor electronic document management and the functioning of all electronic documentation systems of an organisation. Due to the development of communication technologies and the digital economy, employers place special demands on staff in terms of their competence. Competent document management is the basis for effective management and achieving the economic stability of an organisation. Therefore, the competencies that this programme is aimed at will form the ability and willingness of students to effectively apply them in practice and meet the quality standards of the organisation.
AIMS
research activity:
• analysing the systems of documentation support in organisation of various types, taking into account the trends of the development of e-government in order to develop recommendations for improving them.
organisation and management activity:
• building and managing the documentation management system in an organisation based on advanced technologies.
design activity:
• managing the development of local regulatory acts and regulatory and methodological documents for the documentation management in an organisation.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
On successful completion of the course the student should be able to:
• apply fundamental knowledge obtained during the Master’s programme when developing and implementing socially significant projects;
• independently work with information sources and continuously improve the level of professional training;
• apply knowledge in human, social, and economic sciences when implementing expert, analytical, and research work;
• apply specialised professional knowledge of information technologies used in professional activities;
• implement innovative activities, formulate and solve research and applied tasks in the field of document management and archival studies;
• apply modern methodological approaches and educational strategies for implementing educational programmes of higher education and supplementary educational programmes.
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Graduates who have completed the programme are able to carry out administrative, managerial and office activities in the field of organisational and documentation support for the management of organisations.
