DESCRIPTION
The Master's programme is focused on revealing the specifics of scientific knowledge and modern educational discipline, on mastering the methods of scientific research in the field of IT and the use of IT in education. It provides training for specialists who are proficient in modern computer-based learning technologies, who are able to design and implement educational programmes in various subjects in different types of educational institutions, including in specialised training, conduct elective courses, and direct students' project and research activities based on IT.
AIMS
training activity:
• studying students’ abilities, needs, and achievements based on the level of the educational programme being mastered, designing individual routes of training, education and development based on the results obtained;
• organising the learning process and education using technologies, realising the specifics of the subject field, and corresponding to students’ age and psychophysical characteristics, including special educational needs;
• organising coordination with colleagues, parents, and social partners, including foreign partners;
• realising professional self-education and personal growth.
research activity:
• analysing, systemising, and summarising research results in the field of science and education using a complex of research methods when solving specific research tasks;
• conducting and analysing the results of research in the field of science and education using modern research methods and technologies.
organisation and management activity:
• studying the condition and potential of a controlled system and its macro- and microenvironment using a complex of methods for strategic and operational analysis;
• studying, organising, and assessing the implementation of the results of management using management technologies corresponding to general and specific developmental patterns of a controlled system;
• using existing environmental capacity of a controlled system and designing ways to improve it to ensure management quality.
cultural and educational activity:
• forming tolerance and behavioural skills in a changing multicultural environment;
• analysing internal and external (environmental) conditions of the development of supplementary education in an educational organisation.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
On successful completion of the course the student should be able to:
• conduct and optimise professional activities in accordance with professional ethics and regulatory legal acts in the field of education;
• design basic and supplementary educational programmes and elaborate scientific and methodological support for their implementation;
• organise joint and individual learning and educational activities for students, including those with special educational needs;
• create and implement conditions and principles for the implementation of moral education for students based on basic national values;
• develop programmes for monitoring students’ educational results, as well as to develop and implement programmes for overcoming difficulties in education;
• design and apply efficient psychological, pedagogical and inclusive technologies for professional activities necessary to individualise training, education and development of students, including those with special educational needs;
• plan and organise interactions between participants in the educational process;
• design training activities based on special scientific knowledge and research results.
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
The graduate is able to carry out professional activities in the design and implementation of the educational process in institutions of basic general, secondary general, secondary vocational, and higher education using information and communications technology.
