DESCRIPTION
The programme's mission is to develop universal, general professional and professional competencies for a bachelor of teacher education, which allows them to function successfully in the modern labour market as a teacher in the subject area, a teacher of supplementary education, a teacher of vocational training, vocational education and supplementary professional education. As a result of the training, in accordance with the requirements of the employer, the bachelor must possess basic knowledge of language theory and special philological disciplines, meet the modern requirements of the professional standard for teachers, possess the skills of using educational technologies (including inclusive ones) necessary for targeted work with various contingents of students.
AIMS
training activity:
• implementing professional activities in accordance with the requirements of federal state educational standards of primary general, basic general, secondary general, supplementary, and secondary vocational education;
• planning and conducting classes, including those of supplementary and secondary vocational education;
• forming universal learning actions;
• forming skills of information and communications technology;
• conducting unbiased assessment of students’ knowledge based on tests and other assessment tools, in accordance with the real learning abilities of students;
• controlling students’ behaviour to ensure the safety of the educational environment;
• developing students’ cognitive activities, self-reliance, initiative, creative abilities, and labour and life skills under conditions of the modern world, forming students’ healthy and safe lifestyle;
• developing scenarios and conducting individual and group career guidance classes and counselling for students and their parents (legal representatives);
• conducting career guidance master classes for students.
design activity:
• managing learning, professional, project, research, and other activities of students (including those of secondary vocational education programmes).
methodological activity:
• developing and implementing programmes in a foreign language as part of the basic general education programme;
• organising and implementing control and assessment of learning achievements, current and final results of mastering the basic educational programme;
• planning a specialised educational process for a group, class and/or separate contingents of students with outstanding abilities and/or special educational needs on base of existing standard programmes and personal developments, taking into account the specifics of the composition of students, subsequently refining upon and adjusting the plan;
• organising, as well as stimulating and motivating activities and communication between students during classes;
• controlling and assessing the mastering of supplementary general education programmes / an educational programme when conducting interim and final certification in secondary vocational education;
• controlling and assessing the quality of programme and methodological documentation;
• coordinating and controlling the work of teachers and student associations in an educational organisation.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
On successful completion of the course, the student should be able to:
• conduct professional activities in accordance with professional ethics and regulatory legal acts in the field of education;
• participate in the development of basic and supplementary educational programmes, develop their separate elements, including with the use of information and communications technology;
• organise joint and individual learning and educational activities for students, including those with special educational needs, in accordance with the requirements of federal state educational standards;
• implement moral education for students based on basic national values;
• implement control and assessment of students’ educational outcomes, identify and correct learning difficulties;
• apply psychological and training technologies in professional activities necessary for individualisation of learning, development and education, including for those with special educational needs;
• interact with the participants of educational relationships within the implementation of educational programmes;
• implement training activities based on specialised scientific knowledge;
• comprehend the operational principles of modern information technology and apply them for solving professional activity tasks;
• implement educational programmes at various levels in accordance with modern methods and technologies, including information technology, in order to ensure the quality of the educational process;
• implement pedagogical support for students during the achievement of meta-subject, subject, and personal outcomes;
• design the subject environment of educational programmes and their elements;
• design individual educational routes for students in taught educational subjects;
• apply subject knowledge when implementing the educational process;
• organise students’ activities aimed at developing interest in the educational subject as part of class and extracurricular activities;
• apply theoretical and practical knowledge for setting and solving research objectives in the subject area and education field.
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
The graduate is able to carry out pedagogical activities in the design and implementation of the educational process in educational institutions of basic general, secondary general, secondary vocational, and supplementary vocational education in the field of German and French languages.
