International Conference "Internationalization Strategies In Higher Education"

18–19 December 2018 representatives of Penza State University participated at International Conference “Internationalization Strategies in Higher Education” which was held at the premises of Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography (MIIGAiK). Voronezh State University took on the role of an organizer of the Conference. The event was organized with an active support and assistance of the National Office of Erasmus + in the Russian Federation. The conference was the final for the HARMONY Project. Therefore, its goal was to present all achieved results in the field of creating and implementing strategies for internationalization of higher education.

X Forum "Migration Bridges in Eurasia: Migration as a Resource of Socio-Economic and Demographic Development" organized by the Center for Social Demography of the Institute for Social and Political Studies Department of Demographic and Migration Policy was held at MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, in Moscow December 11-12, 2018.

International Conference Internationalization of Higher Education: Strategies and Tools

On September 13-15, 2018 Voronezh State University held International Education Week devoted to the celebrations of the 100-year anniversary of its foundation. Vasin Sergei, Vice-rector for International Affairs, Olga Meshcheriakova, Head of International Cooperation Office and Sergei Ivanchin, Head of the Department of Social Adaptation and Culture work presented Penza State University.

Representative of PSU took part in the 7th Meeting in Tomar, Portugal

Instituto Politécnico de Tomar hosted in Tomar, Portugal the 7th coordination meeting of the HARMONY – Development of approaches to harmonization of comprehensive internationalization strategies in higher education, research and innovation at EU and Partner Countries – project, on April 16th-20th 2018.

5th HARMONY Meeting in Yerevan. Workshop on “Internationalization of Higher Education: Trends and Challenges” at Russian-Armenian University

On September 28, 2017 Russian-Armenian University hosted more than 60 experts on internationalization of higher education from Armenia, Belarus, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Russia, Greece, Spain and UK to discuss the current trends and challenges of internationalization of HE.

International Penza-Flensburg Forum conducted with the help of equipment purchased within HARMONY project

PSU now works to push the international research and innovation. For this reason within the frames of HARMONY project the equipment for simultaneous translation has been ordered and purchased. After obtaining its first portion early 2017 PSU was able to organize a large-scale Russian-German Penza – Flensburg Forum to both practice organization of significant events requiring proper translation service and put scientists and researches of two countries at one table for discussion of cooperation possibilities. The Forum which promoted HARMONY project and was co-financed by Penza State University resulted in a series of  new initiatives and projects.
