INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION OFFICE
The International Education Office oversees and supports all academic and extra-curricular activities of international students.

Department of Academic Affairs
• organises teaching and learning activities of international students, coordinates these activities with the university administration and various administrative divisions of the university, institutes, faculties and departments;
• oversees the academic strategy and the curriculum performance;
• supervises the curriculum, evaluates academic achievements and assesses student knowledge; compiles student rating on the basis of exam and assessment tests data.
• oversees and reviews student attendance;
• issues student official documents: student IDs, record books, certificates; draws up all documents connected with transfers and graduation;
• carries out various registration and enrolment procedures for international students.

Department of Migration and Visa Support
• compiles, processes and issues official documents necessary for migration registration in the Federal Migration Service of Russia in Penza; provides visa support;
• ensures that international students conform to immigration rules and university regulations;
• gives counselling on legal issues for foreigners in the RF: legal status, entrance and exit regulations, travel within the country;
• helps the international student to settle daily issues.

• provides necessary conditions for living and accommodation of international students, manages ad hoc issues;
• helps the international students with accommodation (draws up necessary documents, helps to find the place)
• oversees student life security, prevents illegal activities;
• arranges medical examinations for international students, oversees regular annual check-ups; administrates medical documents;
• organises meetings of international students and university administration, other social events.

INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS OFFICE
International Relations Office works towards internationalization of university education, university integration into the global research network, creating its positive image and building strong reputation in world universities community.

International Projects Department
• manages students and staff participation in academic mobility programmes;
• provides support in filing applications for international grant programmes for academic and research projects.
• assists students and university staff to join individual grant competitions in research and education;
• plans and organises events in science collaboration with international partners;
• contributes to making the information about the university – academic programmes, research, innovation and cultural projects – known in the global educational space;
• performs translations of documents, texts, research materials from foreign languages into Russian and vice versa.

Language and Examination Centre
• purchases and compiles reading and reference materials of fiction and non-fiction in foreign languages, Russian as a foreign language;
• offers short-term foreign languages courses (English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese);
• organises promotional events for language teaching services;
• manages international events – meeting and support for international guests;
• organises and oversees the Pearson Test of English;
• organises and oversees the Goethe-Institute's German language examinations;
• organises and oversees the DELF and DALF French language examinations;
• disseminates information about international programmes for students.
