Pre-University Training
Students who come to study at Penza State University should not be afraid of language barriers. The main function of the the Pre-University Training Office is to prepare international students from all over the world for enrollment and study at PSU and other Russian universities.
The Pre-University Training Office focuses on:
• teaching the Russian language (Russian as a foreign language)
• training in general disciplines, depending on the future area of study (selected undergraduate course)
• offering short-term courses in the Russian language of various types
• organising extracurricular activities of foreign citizens
Education
The Pre-University Training Office offers learning both the Russian language and general disciplines within the future area of study, namely Mathematics, Chemistry, Economics, Biology, Country Studies, Psycics, Social Studies and others. Particular attention is given to studying professional language, which will be vital for their success during further studies (selected undergraduate course).

Training is provided in the Russia language.
Classes start from 1st Semtember (or 1st October).
Latecomers can be admitted till 1st December.
Classes comprise 8-10 individuals.
Pre-university training lasts one academic year.
At the end of training students are required to take final examinations in the Russian language and other disciplines studied during the course. If students pass exams successfully, a certifying document is given and students may further proceed to undergraduate courses.
Extracurricular activity
The Pre-University Training Office organises sightseeing tours in the city of Penza, the Penza Region and other Russia cities. Students also have the opportunity to visit museums and theaters, participate in concerts and compete in sport events.
The joint educational and extracurricular activity of students from different countries enables establishing friendly relations among them and contributes to the psychological and cultural adaptation of international students.

• passport and its translation into Russian
• education document and its translation into Russian
