Russian Language Test Centre organises:

1) Exam on the Russian language, Russian history and basic laws of the Russian Federation for foreign citizens who apply for work licence / work permit or residence permit (regardless of its kind)

2) Russian Language Test for foreign citizens applying for citizenship of the Russian Federation

3) Tests of Russian as a Foreign Language to determine the level of language proficiency (elementary, basic, intermediate, advanced, proficiency, fluency)

Documents required for passing tests and exams:

•   passport or residence permit
•   copy of a passport or a residence permit
•   copy of the translation of a passport
•   copy of a migration card
•   copy of a migration registration tear-off card
•   1 photo (3x4) for applicants for Russian citizenship

Following the results of tests and exams in the Russian language, foreign citizens are granted the official certificates. The certificates are processed for 7-10 working days from the date of testing.

Tests and exams are carried on Monday, Wednesday, Friday. The groups are formed by appointment.

The certificates are issued on Tuesday and Thursday from 09:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m. and on Monday and Wednesday from 01:00 p.m. to 05:00 p.m.

Partial retake of an exam on the Russian language, Russian history and basic laws of the Russian Federation at levels corresponding to the purpose of obtaining a work licence in the Russian Federation / worl permit (level 1), a temporary residence permit in the Russian Federation (level 2), a residence permit in the Russian Federation (level 3) is not provided.
