Diploma Supplement

Since 2011, Penza State University graduates, who completed studies according to the Federal State Educational Standards of Higher Education, can obtain the Diploma Supplement (hereinafter referred to as EDS). The EDS to the higher education diploma issued by the University corresponds to the final model that was developed by the European Commission, the Council of Europe and the UNESCO European Information Centre for Higher Education (UNESCO CEPES) and approved at the joint meeting of representatives of these organisations on 15 May 1998 in Brussels (Belgium).

The EDS is a standardised limited-issue document, which is printed using various degrees of protection.

The learning outcomes of the educational programme are indicated in accordance with the evaluation system introduced at Penza State University and European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS). The credits transfer scale is used in compliance with the European standards.

 

Procedure for obtaining the Diploma Supplement

 

To order an EDS, a graduate should apply to the International Education Office (37 Lermontova Str., building 11, first floor, office 118) and provide the following documents:

•    application;
•    identity document (passport);
•    foreign passport (if available);
•    photocopy of higher education diploma with supplement.

The fee for executing the Diploma Supplement is 2000 roubles.

The turnaround time of the EDS is up to 30 working days from the date of remitting payment to the University account.

The EDS is issued to the person who applied for the EDS upon presenting an identity document (passport). In addition, the services completion certificate should be signed and the entry in the EDS issue record book should be made.

The procedure for executing and issuing the Diploma Supplement is established in the corresponding Regulation (in Russian).
