DESCRIPTION
The purpose of the program is to prepare a bachelor's degree in communications, information and communication technologies, and the rocket and space industry capable of independently researching, designing, modelling, and constructing electronic and radio-electronic devices that meet the requirements of reliability, design, and operating conditions. Graduates should be able to integrate into the modern industrial and economic space and be ready to carry out work in their professional fields.
AIMS
design activity:
• collecting and analysing initial data for the calculation and design of electronic tools, circuits, and devices with various functions;
• calculating and designing electronic tools, circuits and devices with various functions in accordance with the technical specifications using automated design tools;
• developing design and technical documentation and formalising finished design works;
• managing the compliance of projects and technical documentation under development to standards, technical conditions, and other regulatory documents.
technological activity:
• implementing the research and development results in production;
• conducting works on technological preparation for the production of electronic tools;
• conducting technological processes for the production of electronic tools;
• organising metrological support for the production of electronic tools.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
On successful completion of the course the student should be able to:
• build elementary physical and mathematical models for circuits, design and technological processes of electronic tools with various functions, apply standard software for their computer modelling;
• conduct calculations and design circuits and electronic tools with various functions in accordance with the technical specifications using automated design tools;
• conduct finished design works using automation tools;
• manage the compliance of projects and technical documentation under development to standards, technical conditions, and other regulatory documents;
• conduct works on technological preparation for the production of electronic tools;
• setting up, configuring, adjusting, and testing electronic tools with various functions.
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
A graduate who has mastered the bachelor's degree program can work at enterprises of the military-industrial complex developing radio-electronic equipment and civilian enterprises producing electronic equipment in such positions as an electronics engineer, design engineer, software engineer, process engineer.
