On 12 May 2022, the Justice Lesson was arranged in the Institute of Law at Penza State University. the event was held in the form of a game trial. The organizers were the ProEU project team (Doctor in Legal Sciences, Professor Gleb Sintsov, Candidate in Legal Sciences Danil Feoktistov and Candidate in Legal Sciences Evgeny Bityutsky), Penza Regional Court, Office of the Judicial Department in the Penza Region and the Penza Regional Branch of the Russian Bar Association.

The members of the ProEU project research team  and students of the module developed and conducted a game for schoolchildren. It was a trial, where the schoolchildren from School No. 7 represented the prosecution and the schoolchildren from V.O. Klyuchevsky School No. 28 represented the defense. The judges in the process were the students of the Institute of Law (Penza State University).

A controversial but interesting case was prepared for consideration, which concerns the most complex part of criminal law: driving a person to suicide, cyberbullying, protecting minors from harmful information on the Internet. Particular attention was paid to the protection of the rights of minors. In the game situation, schoolchildren received knowledge that they can use in the future. Many senior schoolchildren have already made their choice and will enter the law departments of higher education institutions.

After the Justice Lesson, a schoolchild of secondary school No. 7 Egor Simonenko, who acted as a lawyer, shared his impressions of the project:

"As a person who loves films about the court, all its hearings and proceedings, as soon as I heard about the event, I immediately wanted to participate in it. During the meeting it was very worrying and terrifying, but at the same time it was very exciting. Thanks to the fact that we were supervised by wonderful students, we had a good line of defense. I would be happy to participate in such an event again".

As a result of participating in the game, all schoolchildren received certificates and memorable gifts, as well as an invitation to the Winter School of Law "Academia Legis", which is scheduled for February 2023 as part of the Jean Monnet project (Protection of Human Rights within and across the European Union  - ProEU).
