DESCRIPTION

The program's mission is to provide training for specialists who can realise the organisational and professional harmony of the components of the modern management process in each organisation. The most important component of an organisation's success, its image, depends on the professionalism and competence of document specialists. The training includes socio-economic, legal, managerial, professional disciplines, as well as a range of information and computer courses.  In today's world, employers place special demands on staff in terms of their competence. Competent document management is the basis for effective management and achieving the economic stability of an organization. Therefore, the knowledge, skills and abilities that the programme is aimed at acquiring will form students' ability and willingness to effectively apply them in practice and meet the organisation's quality standards.

AIMS

research activity:
•    applying scientific methods for organising management documentation support based on high-end technologies.

technological activity:
•    applying an electronic documentation management system in the activities of an organisation;
•    applying technical tools in management documentation support;
•    applying the rules of preparing management documents and conducting business correspondence;
•    processing documents at every stage of documentation management;
•    organising the storage and record of documents, preparing files for archiving.

organisation and management activity:
•    conducting organisation, document, and information support for the activities of the organisation head.

project activity:
•    developing local regulatory acts and methodical regulatory documents for the implementation of general and personnel administration, as well as information and document support for management.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

On successful completion of the course the student should be able to:
•    apply knowledge in historical sciences at the basic level for solving tasks in the sphere of professional activities;
•    find organisation and management solutions when solving tasks in the sphere of professional activities;
•    apply theoretical knowledge of information and communication technologies in the sphere of professional activities;
•    work with various information sources and apply the basics of analytical activity for solving tasks of professional activity.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Graduates who have completed the programme are able to carry out administrative, managerial and office activities in the field of organisational and documentation support for the management of organisations.
