DESCRIPTION
The mission of this programme is to provide a high level of training of bachelors in the field of design and technological preparation of machine-building production in accordance with the existing and projected needs of enterprises and organisations of Russia, the region, and the city. The aim of this programme in the field of education is to create conditions for the personal and professional development of the student, contributing to his/her effective adaptation in the socio-cultural environment of the Russian and international community.
AIMS
production and technological activity:
• managing the works on automation and mechanisation of production processes for machine-building enterprises, adjustment of hardware and technological tools;
• developing technological production processes for machine-building enterprises;
• ensuring the quality of mechanical assembly products and control over compliance with technological discipline;
• developing control programmes for manufacturing on machine tools and machining centres with numerical control of parts of various complexity in accordance with technical requirements.
design activity:
• analysing technical specifications and developing a project for a section of machine-building enterprises, formalizing finished design works;
• developing documentation on designing technologies for machine-building components, and products, equipment and sections of machine-building enterprises.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
On successful completion of the course the student should be able to:
• automate and mechanise production processes of mechanical assembly production;
• implement technological preparing and ensure the production of machine-building components and products of medium complexity in automated production conditions;
• develop technologies and control programmes for the production of complex components on CNC lathes and CNC machining centres, including the use of automated development systems;
• design mechanical assembly sections;
• develop design documentation of technological solutions for the mechanical assembly section.
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
The graduates are employed in enterprises of machine building, instrument building, repair organisations of machine-building profile and various design institutions.
