DESCRIPTION
The mission of this programme is to ensure a high level of training of bachelors in the field of electrochemical production technology in accordance with the existing and forecasted needs of enterprises and organisations of Russia, the region, and the city. The purpose of this programme in the field of education is to create conditions for the personal and professional development of the student, contributing to his/her effective adaptation in the socio-cultural environment of the Russian and international community.
AIMS
technological activity:
• managing compliance with technological;
• controlling the quality of products using standard methods;
• identifying production defect causes and developing measure for preventing and eliminating them;
• developing measures for the complex use of raw materials and the replacement of deficient materials;
• participating in the commissioning, installation and testing of equipment;
• participating in the development of technological and production processes at electrochemical enterprises;
• assessing the technical condition of equipment and selecting methods of protecting it from external impacts;
research activity:
• studying scientific technical information of Russian and foreign experience in the area of electrochemical production technology;
• conducting electrochemical experiments according to the set methods, drawing up descriptions of conducted research and analysing them;
• preparing data for writing scientific technical reports and scientific publications in the area of electrochemical technology;
• writing reports on completed task, preparing proposals for implementing the results of research and developments.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
On successful completion of the course the student should be able to:
• select parameters of workpieces and technological solutions and ensure technological efficiency of part designs for coating application;
• develop technological processes for coating, with the choice of technological modes and equipment, in accordance with regulatory and technical documentation;
• identify defect causes and give proposals on eliminating them by adjusting coating technological processes;
• assess the technical condition of equipment and select methods for protecting it from external impacts;
• conduct the assembly, processing and analysis of scientific technical information, plan and conduct experiments, write reports on research results for implementing them into production.
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Places of professional activity of the graduate are enterprises of mechanical engineering, instrument making and research organisations.
