DESCRIPTION

The purpose of the programme is to provide fundamental training for highly qualified specialists with deep knowledge in the field of pedagogy and other sciences, who are able to solve the tasks of their professional activities at a high level independently: to organize educational activities and the pedagogical process in educational organisations of various levels. The programme helps to develop students' personal qualities and the formation of a set of competencies that ensure their academic, social, personal and professional mobility.

AIMS

training activity:
•    designing educational programmes at different levels (including adapted ones) in accordance with modern methods and technologies;
•    designing a developing educational environment to achieve personal, subject and meta-subject educational results;
•    designing innovative components for educational programmes.

research activity:
•    conducting research in the subject area of scientific knowledge in the field of pedagogy and psychology of education;
•    analysing and developing science-based tools, methods and technologies for education and electronic resources for digital educational environments for students.

organisation and management activity:
•    assessing the potential and improving the management process using innovative management technologies.

support activity:
•    using the capacity of modern information environment in organising educational processes for children;
•    creating conditions for supporting families in raising and educating children.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

On successful completion of the course the student should be able to:
•    conduct and optimise professional activities in accordance with professional ethics and regulatory legal acts in the field of education;
•    design basic and supplementary educational programmes and elaborate scientific and methodological support for their implementation;
•    organise joint and individual learning and educational activities for students, including those with special educational needs;
•    create and implement conditions and principles for the implementation of moral education for students based on basic national values;
•    develop programmes for monitoring students’ educational results, as well as to develop and implement programmes for overcoming difficulties in education;
•    design and apply efficient psychological, pedagogical and inclusive technologies for professional activities necessary to individualise training, education and development of students, including those with special educational needs;
•    plan and organise interactions between participants in the educational process;
•    design training activities based on special scientific knowledge and research results.
