Research problem
The project is aimed at researching into the discursive ways of conflict resolution in the 20th century as well as in the 21st century. Considered are global geopolitical conflicts (WW1, WWII) along with minor political and diplomatic issues.

Research solutions
The problem of the discursive resolution of conflict in political discourse can be solved by means of the synthesis of methodologies featuring the linguistic method of discursive-dicteme analysis as the basic one. The above can be supplemented with the cognitive discursive analysis and historical analysis methods.
