Department of Outpatient Therapy and Alert Training in Healthcare

The Department of Outpatient Therapy and Alert Training in Healthcare was established in 2023 by the decision of the Academic Council of Penza State University.

As the department is clinically based on Penza Region Outpatient Clinic, it offers practice-oriented training in order to develop the students’ professional potential in such areas as polyclinic therapy, clinical hematology and nephrology. The department teaching staff oversees practical training of students as assistants in an outpatient clinic.

Education is also provided within the clinical residency programme (namely, “Therapy”) and post-graduate programme (namely, “Cardiology”).

Graduates of the department have the opportunity to employ in any prevention and treatment facility and health care centre in the Russian Federation and abroad. Employment in medical educational institutions of various cycles is also possible.
