DESCRIPTION

The main objective of the programme is to prepare a bachelor in the field of power engineering and electrical engineering, capable of being a leader, working in a team, acting and winning in a competitive environment.

AIMS

project activity:
•    identifying possible design variants for the realisation of electrical and electronic equipment of automobiles and tractors;
•    developing principal electrical circuits for electrical and electronic equipment of automobiles and tractors;
•    modelling circuits for electrical and electronic equipment of automobiles and tractors;
•    evaluating parameters of electrical and electronic equipment of automobiles and tractors;
•    analysing and verifying the results of modelling electrical and electronic equipment of automobiles and tractors;
•    developing simple nodes and blocks of the electric drive;
•    implementing physical verification of topological representation of electrical and electronic equipment of automobiles and tractors;

operation activity:
•    participating in the testing and commissioning of electrical and electronic equipment of automobiles and tractors;
•    certification of compliance of parameters of electrical and electronic equipment of vehicles and tractors with the requirements of the technical specifications;
•    maintaining electrical and electronic equipment of automobiles and tractors;
•    ensuring operation of electrical and electronic equipment of automobiles and tractors.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

On successful completion of the course the student should be able to:
•    participate in the design of professional activities objects in accordance with technical specifications and technical regulatory documentation, complying with various technical requirements;
•    calculate the operation modes of objects and ensure the required modes and set parameters of the technological process;
•    participate in the installation of equipment elements for professional activities and in testing the equipment during commissioning;
•    evaluate the technical condition and remaining life of equipment, organise preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and currents repairs for professional activities objects.

A graduate who has mastered the Bachelor's programme can perform professional activities in organisations and enterprises engaged in the design and operation of electrical and electronic equipment of automobiles and tractors.
