Representatives of PSU are winners of the international competition of student scientific works “I give my heart to children”

Representatives of Penza State University became winners of the XI international competition of student projects "I give my heart to children". The scientific event was organized by Vitebsk State University named after P. M. Masherov (Republic of Belarus). In their works, students solved current professionally and socially significant problems in the field of inclusive and general education, organization of leisure and recreation of students.

The competition was held with the aim of affirming the values of education, forming public opinion about the education system as a social institution and industry that determines the priority direction of social development, the formation of professional competence of a future specialist.

The participants of the competition presented projects in three areas: "Defectology", "Pedagogy", "Psychology". They aroused keen interest among both the jury members and the student audience.

Irina Denisova, first-year master's degree student of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Psychology and Social Sciences of PSU, presented the project "Tutoring as a form of support in primary school". The work defines the importance of the tutor profession in the context of modern educational realities. The master's degree student also identified key aspects of the tutor's activities with an emphasis on supporting children with special needs in primary school. The project was awarded the Winner's Diploma in the nomination "Best Master's Degree Student Project".

The winner's diploma in the nomination "For contribution to popularizing the Chinese language through educational initiatives" was awarded to the project of PSU fourth-year student of the Faculty of History, Languages and Literature Mikhail Teslenko "Chinese Culture Club as a Means of Popularizing the Study of Chinese Language and Culture and its Adaptation for Persons with Disabilities".

Anastasia Belyakova, volunteer of the PSU center "Abilympics", was awarded a 3rd degree diploma for the project "Methods of art therapy in working with children with cerebral palsy".

The jury expressed gratitude to Irina Meshcheryakova, scientific supervisor of the projects, candidate of pedagogical sciences, specialist of the Department of Comprehensive Development of Inclusive Education of PSU, for preparing the participants of the competition "I give my heart to children".

Along with Penza State University, students and postgraduates from Moscow Psychological and Social University, Russian State Pedagogical University named after A. I. Herzen, Tula State Pedagogical University named after L. N. Tolstoy, and Pskov State University took part in the competition.
