‘Goodwill Games’ is a series of sports and recreational activities aimed at adaptation and socialisation of international students by organising sports-oriented leisure activities for them, as well as strengthening friendly ties between students from different countries studying at the university.
The games were held based on the results of the activity of sports sections for foreign students during the academic year in 10 disciplines: mini-football, wrestling, volleyball, basketball, darts, table tennis, gymnastics, weightlifting, badminton, athletic gymnastics.
The format of the 'Goodwill Games' has long been appreciated and familiar to the students, as each of them could choose their favourite sport and compete.
The largest was the traditional cricket tournament among Indian students, which consisted of more than 35 matches!
Among the women's teams the 'Supernovas' team won, in the men's series of games the 'Tairants' team took the first place.
The results and awarding of the winners of the ‘Goodwill Games’ will be held on 28 May at 13:30 in the assembly hall of PSU, building 11.
