PSU student Aleksandr Bolshunov wins bronze at the PyeongChang Olympic Winter Games
Aleksandr Bolshunov finished third (+1.36 seconds) in the final men’s sprint classic in men’s cross-country skiing. According to the photo finish, he completed the distance only 0.02 seconds behind Italian Federico Pellegrino. Johannes Klaebo of Norway won the gold in the sprint race.
The medal brought by Aleksandr Bolshunov is the fifth for the Russian national team at the 2018 Olympics in PyeongChang.
