PSU international students from China went to taste sweets in one of Penza confectionery companies
On Wednesday, April 9, master’s degree students of the Institute of International Cooperation of Penza State University from China tasted chocolate products of the Penza confectionery company. The event became a platform for exchanging experience and knowledge in the field of studying the taste preferences of Chinese citizens in sweets.
The meeting was held with the support of the International Relations Office of the Institute of International Cooperation and the Department of Sociology, Economic Theory and International Processes of the Institute of Economics and Administration of PSU.
The participants of the project were Chinese citizens studying for the Russian-Chinese Master's degree at PSU.
The workshop for the students was held by a Penza company specializing in chocolate production. They showed how to make chocolate candies and organized sampling of different types of chocolate products.
The organizers emphasize that the goal of the event was to study the taste preferences of Chinese citizens when choosing chocolate.
The Chinese students discussed current trends and innovative approaches to promoting goods and services on international markets. Particular attention was paid to the differences in taste preferences of residents of different countries. The students also practiced their tasting skills at workshops and practical lessons. After the intensive course, they discussed the prospects for developing international trade and creating joint ventures.
"Such initiatives help strengthen economic ties between the countries and allow participants to expand their professional horizons and become more familiar with the business infrastructure of the Penza Region," shared Olga Meshcheryakova, Head of the International Relations Office.
Head of the Department of Sociology, Economic Theory and International Processes Liliya Rozhkova emphasized the importance of such events, which form a new generation of specialists in the field of international business.
