On Friday, April 11, the final of the Regional Music Competition "Univervision 2025. Spectrum" took place at the Center for Cultural Development "Officers' House". 12 finalists from five Penza universities competed for the title of the best vocalist of the region.

The Institute of International Cooperation was represented by Saakanush Muradyan (Armenia) and Shlok Kshirsagar (India). For Saakanush, this "Univervision" was the third in her career - in 2018 and 2021, she became the winner of the PSU song contest. For the soloist of the vocal group "HarmoniX", this competition was the second - last year, Shlok became the silver medalist of "Univervision" as part of the group.

Saakanush and Shlok, laureates and winners of the Grand Prix of international vocal competitions, winners of the National Prize in Culture and Art “Future of Russia”, laureates of the Russian Student Spring, presented two songs of different characters to the jury and the audience. Shlok chose a dance composition, Saakanush preferred lyrics. 

“Two performances different in character and style, two different performers, each of whom is unique,” notes the head of the vocal studio of the Institute of International Cooperation Maria Melnikova. - The young people fully coped with the task set before them and enjoyed the performance.”

The winner was determined by a 50/50 rating: the points given by the jury members and the audience in the hall were summed up. This is how a 12-point rating is formed. Based on the results of the voting by the experts and the audience, Shlok Kshirsagar took second place in the rating, repeating the success of last year and becoming the silver medalist, and Saakanush Muradyan was unanimously recognized as the winner of the "Univervision 2025. Spectrum" competition.
