Iranian school graduates are interested in studying at Penza State University
On June 10, Penza State University was officially visited by Iranian recruiting company representatives, interested in partnership with the university. Akhsaninamin Puya and Purkhekmat Valeria Hamid Rezayevna met with Aleksandr Guliakov, Rector of PSU. At the round table, the parties discussed the possibility of studying at PSU for students from Iran.
According to the representatives of the Iranian side, Iranian school graduates are showing increasing interest in studying at Russian universities. Medical fields such as dentistry and general medicine are especially popular.
Aleksandr Guliakov informed the guests that currently more than 3,000 international students from 47 countries are studying at PSU. The students receive education in both Russian and English.
"Expanding the geography of our students by including students from Iran will be a good result of the close cooperation between our countries. We are ready to consider your proposal and already in the new academic year we will be able to accept about 50 students for training in the English-language programme," noted Aleksandr Guliakov.
Vice-Rector for International Affairs Gleb Sintsov added that the university is ready to create all the necessary conditions for both education and personal development of students from Iran.
PSU continues to strengthen international ties and opens up new opportunities for students from all over the world.
