Institute of International Cooperation hosted the festival for Indian first-year students
On June 1, 2025, the holiday for Indian students "Freshman's Day" or, as the students themselves call it, the "Freshers" holiday was traditionally held at the Athletics Arena of the Olympic Reserve School of the Penza Region.
The event was organized by the Association of Indian Students of PSU with the support of PSU partner Yuvraajsinh Solanki and the Institute of International Cooperation.
Every year, Indian senior students prepare a themed celebration for over 120 first-year students with interesting interactive games and creative performances.
"I would like to express my deep gratitude for the wonderful celebration that you organized especially for us, first-year students. The celebration, filled with warmth, fun and care, became a wonderful start to our long journey within the walls of our native university. Only recently we took our first timid step onto the threshold of the university, full of doubts and worries. And then suddenly, like bright rays of the sun, the smiles of senior students flashed, warming our hearts with words of support and kindness. You showed us an example of true camaraderie, readiness to help and share the joy of the first steps in an independent adult life," the participants of the event - PSU international first-year students from India – shared their emotions.
