International students from Arab countries have become certified dentists
On August 26, Penza State University held a solemn ceremony of awarding higher education certificates to Arab students of the study field «Dentistry» using an intermediary language. This graduation of international students was the fifth – the first graduates from Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Sudan and Lebanon received their higher education degrees in 2021.
In total, 27 graduates received higher education certificates in 2025, including 4 from Lebanon, Yemen, Egypt, Morocco, Pakistan, Palestine and Algeria.
In his welcoming speech, Vice Rector for International Affairs Gleb Sintsov congratulated the graduates on their successful graduation:
«Today, yesterday's students have received not only one of the most important documents in their life, but also the proud title of doctor. These five years have been filled with joy, achievements, new knowledge and experience. Dear graduates, I am sure that no matter how much time has passed, you will always remember with special trepidation and gratitude teachers, administrative staff of the Institute of International Cooperation, active student life and, of course, your friends».
As part of the ceremony, graduates and guests of the event enjoyed the performance of the invited artists. Former PSU graduate Mohamed Abdelrahman delighted the audience with a song in Arabic, and the vocal ensemble «Gold and Silver» performed a block of Russian folk songs, which gave a special flavor to the festive event.
By tradition, parents of the graduates came to congratulate the qualified doctors. At the end of the ceremony, the graduates, together with the holders of honors certificates, delivered the oath of the doctor.
