Talking Club for interntaional students of PSU begins its work
Talking Club is a place where every international student can practice English and Russian languages in an informal setting, make new friends, and make good use of their time!
The project’s author is Dayana Esenalieva from Kyrgyzstan, who proposed the idea during the final stage of the Best International Student 2025 Contest.
‘Talking Club for international students is an interactive platform aimed to help students improve speaking skills, broaden their cultural horizons, and maintain a friendly atmosphere among participants from different countries.’
Classes are held in the form of role-playing games, debates, and discussions of films, books, and articles. The topics discussed vary from cultural traditions and customs to current social issues and global challenges.
‘We are very glad to have a platform in the international space where student projects come to life! The Association of International Students of the Penza Region is always ready to help students and become a starting point for larger initiatives,’ noted Adel Maqbol, Chairperson of the Association of International Students of the Penza Region, during his speech at the Club’s opening.
The Club has begun its work and welcomes all comers every Saturday at 17:00–18:00 for English sessions and at 18:00–19:00 for Russian ones!
Mistakes are welcomed, laughter is strictly required!
Talking Club is based at the PSU International Space (53 Krasnaya St., 2nd Floor).
