13.02.2025 10:26 On issuing a temporary residence permit for the purpose of obtaining education

From January 1, 2023, foreign citizens taking full-time bachelor's, specialist's, master's, residency, assistantship-internship programmes that have state accreditation, or a post-graduate (military) course for training scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel at a state educational or state scientific organization, are given the opportunity to apply for a temporary residence permit for the purpose of obtaining education (hereinafter referred to as TRPE) in accordance with Article 6.2 of the Federal Law "On the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens in the Russian Federation" (hereinafter referred to as the Federal Law).
