Penza State University continues to implement a joint double degree educational programme with Gannan Normal University.

16 Chinese students arrived at PSU to continue their studies in the bachelor's degree programme "Music" (course "Pedagogical Education"). The success of the programme is also associated with the support provided by the management of PSU and the Institute of Teacher Education, the quality of the educational process organized at the Department of Music and Methods of Teaching Music, and the socio-cultural and organizational support of the Institute of International Cooperation.

The implementation of the joint programme is also carried out with the support of the Beijing Cultural Exchange Company "Bridge" under the leadership of Mr. Wang Tao.

At the end of October, Penza State University is planning to host a visit of students and teachers of Gannan Normal University, as well as the leadership, within the framework of which joint events will be held with the aim of strengthening and expanding joint work in educational activities.

Gleb Sintsov, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, noted that the joint programme is being successfully implemented and continues to attract Chinese partners despite the difficult geopolitical situation. This is evidence of the high quality of pedagogical and musical education received by Chinese students at the Institute of Teacher Education.
