This academic year’s first meeting of the Chinese Culture Club was held at PSU
On September 27, the first meeting of the Chinese Culture Club this academic year was held at V. G. Belinsky Institute of Teacher Education of Penza State University. Participants took a virtual trip to such Chinese cities as Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, Hong Kong and others.
The event was attended by future teachers of English and Chinese, the Russian language and literature, history and social studies, and translators.
The students learned about such landmarks as the Temple of Heaven, the Great Wall of China, the Bund (Waitan), the Oriental Pearl Tower, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and many other places.
At the meeting, Marcel Asainov a student of 23ИПО1 group, gave a report. He introduced the audience to the most famous sights of the Celestial Empire and shared information about their history.
