PSU international graduates became certified medical doctors: on July 15, a graduation ceremony of awarding certificates on higher medical education was held at Penza State University.

The year of 2025 has become a record-breaking in terms of the number of graduates, with 130 students from India, Yemen, Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon graduating, including two with honours.

During their years of study at Penza State University, they not only gained valuable knowledge and became real specialists, but also became acquainted with Russian culture, traveled around Russian cities and made new friends.

In his welcoming speech, PSU Rector Aleksandr Guliakov congratulated yesterday's students on their successful graduation: "You have been studying here with us for 6 years and, I hope, have received solid, worthy knowledge. The profession of a doctor is considered the most conscientious and noble in the world, because people trust their health and their lives to you. And I am sure that you will succeed in your profession, you will successfully confirm your diplomas in India and begin medical practice. I would like to congratulate the parents of our graduates, who worried about their children, created all the necessary conditions and, of course, are glad that you successfully graduated from our university. But know that the doors of our university are always open for you! Do not forget Penza State University and the years spent here!"

According to tradition, parents of the graduates came to congratulate them. At the end of the certificate awarding ceremony, the graduates, together with the holders of certificates with honours, took the doctor's oath.

Every year, Penza State University graduates more than 400 highly qualified international specialists who are in demand not only in the Russian Federation, but also in other countries of the world.

In 2025, 438 international students from 23 countries (Azerbaijan, Algeria, Armenia, Vietnam, Egypt, Israel, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Yemen, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Côte d'Ivoire, Lebanon, Morocco, Pakistan, Syria, Somalia, Sudan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan) will graduate from Penza State University in 54 fields of study.
