Penza State University celebrated its 70th anniversary

A ceremonial meeting dedicated to the70th anniversary of Penza State University took place in Penza Regional Drama Theatre on Friday, November 29.

   

Vasily Kuzmich Bochkarev, Governor of the Penza Region, congratulated the staff members on the anniversary.

In his opening speech the head of the region emphasized that the country today needs highly qualified specialists - not only managers, but also specialists in the field of machine building, instrument engineering and radio electronics.

The Governor awarded the best teachers with signs "Honorary Worker of Higher Professional Education".

   

Making a ceremonial speech University Rector Alexander Dmitrievich Gulyakov expressed the belief that all faculties, staff and students will be able not only to maintain but also to increase the glorious traditions of the classical University with a rich history.
