Ilya Egorov, a first-year Master Degree student of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, took a course of study at the Technological Institute of Karlsruher (Germany) from the 1st of November 2013 till the 1st of September, 2014. He had this opportunity as he won the scholarship of the President of the Russian Federation to study abroad.

In the experimental laboratory of physics Ilya studied the following research fields: superconductivity, Josephson contact, superconductive cubits and low-temperature dimensions. Besides, he managed to improve his spoken English and German. During this course Ilya visited famous sights of Europe and learned a lot about life in Germany.
The result of the course is an article in the international journal ready to be published.
