PSU representatives took part in the workshop of ERASMUS+ HARMONY project
O. Meshcheryakova, Head of International Cooperation Office, and E. Aleshina, Head of Department “Foreign Languages and Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages” took part in in the orientation workshop of ERASMUS+ HARMONY project. The workshop took place from 12th to 15th of January, in the University of Seville (Spain).
HARMONY project is aimed at developing approaches to harmonizing strategies of internalization in the system of higher education, science and innovation in the countries of the European Union and in Partner countries (Russia, Armenia, and Belarus) according to the Bologna process standards.
The project coordinator is University of Seville. PSU is the participant of ERASMUS+ HARMONY project along with large European and Russian universities (The Sapienza University of Rome (Italy), the University of Kassel (Germany), Aston University (Great Britain), Polytechnic Institute of Tomar (Portugal), Technological Institute of Alexander the Great (Greece), Voronezh State University, Belarusian State University, the Belarusian Trade and Economics University of Consumer Cooperatives, Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University, Eurasia International University of Armenia, Southern Federal University), ministries of education of Russia, Belarus, and Armenia.
The programme of the orientation workshop in the University of Seville included the presentation of the project partners, discussions of work packages, issues of coordinating the participants’ actions, stages of working on the project. The project is to last two years. Its results are to include recommendations and a step-by-step action plan on internalizing educational and research activities of all the universities in Russia, Belarus, and Armenia.
