Penza State University entered the UI GreenMetric World University Ranking for the first time and took 325th place.
The establishers of the ranking aim at attracting attention of the academic community to the necessity of running the policy of sustainable environmental development for solving a number of ecological problems. The main criteria of the ranking include the indicators of consuming and saving energy, rational use of water supply, storing and recycling wastes, using ecological transport vehicles, green areas on the campus territory. The ranking pays great attention to the indicators of educational and research activities in this field.
