“This is a good language practice for PSU students”, said A. Strzalka, an associate professor from Krakow University

On 18-22 February the English Language Department, Belinsky Pedagogical Institute, PSU, hosted Agnieszka Strzalka, PhD, Krakow Pedagogical University. A. Strzalka made reports at the workshop “The World of English: Theory and Practice” and gave a practical class of English in the students group 15ЭА1.

The class took place on 20th February, 2016. A.Strzalka involved the students in the discussion of the topic “Cuisine and food”, told them about the specific features of Polish cuisine, traditions and modern eating habits of the Poles. The students asked her questions, expressed interest in different aspects of Polish life.

Applying their knowledge of English into practice during intercultural communication, the students of PSU demonstrated their level of linguistic knowledge and the desire to develop communicative skills.
