Post graduate student from “Medical cybernetics and informatics” department took a training course under Indian cooperation ITEC programme

 Mikhail Gerashchenko, a post graduate student of the department of “Medical cybernetics and informatics”, Medical Institute, took a training course in exploitation, maintenance and fixing of biomedical equipment from 5th, September to 28th, October, 2016. The courses were organized with the assistance of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India and held within the framework of Indian cooperation in technical and economic spheres – ITEC (Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation) programme.

The training course took place on the base of departments of CSIO (Central Scientific Instruments Organisation): in New Deli,  the capital of India, where one of the main laboratories of CSIO is located, and in Chandigarh, 250 km to the north of the capital, where CSIO’s main laboratory and headquarters are located.

International ITEC team included 25 participants, representatives of Latin America, Western and Eastern Africa, Middle East and Eastern Asia. Theoretical and practical parts of the training course were dedicated to using, maintaining and fixing modern medical equipment, such as «NIR in Biomedical», «CT Scan», «Robotic Surgical Systems», «X-ray Machine & Quality Assurance», and many other courses.

The courses were delivered by the leading specialists in the sphere of designing biomedical equipment, teachers and scientists of India.

The result of this two month’s course was acquisition of new knowledge in the sphere of designing medical equipment, advancing technical skills and experience of communication inside a multinational team of young specialists.
