PSU Professor gives presentation at the conference in France
On August 28th – 30th, 2017 Victor N. Dubinin, Professor of the Department of Computer Engineering, Polytechnic Institute, Penza State University, participated in the 8th International Conference on Industrial Applications of Holonic and Multi-Agent Systems (HoloMAS-2017) and presented his report. The conference was held in Jean Moulin University Lyon III (Lyon, France).
The conference HoloMAS-2017 was part of conference and seminar sessions within the 28th DEXA Conferences and Workshops (DEXA-2017) that took place in one place at one time. In 2017 DEXA forum comprised 6 conferences and 5 seminars under a common theme based on the theory and practice of applying data and knowledge bases, expert systems, as well as methods of artificial intelligence.
The presentation of PSU Professor on automatic generation of connected software for industrial automation based on formal product line specification aroused significant interest among conference participants. Professor Valeriy Vyatkin, Doctor of Engineering Science, Head of the Department of Dependable Communications and Computations in Lulea University of Technology (Sweden), and Ilya Senokosov, Master’s degree student at the Department of Computer Engineering, Polytechnic Institute, Penza State University, were the co-authors of the report.
“The conference HoloMAS-2017 attracted approximately 30 scientists and specialists from the Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Finland, Sweden, Portugal, Russia, Canada and the USA. My participation was possible thanks to the support of Lulea University of Technology (Sweden), where I undertook scientific internship this summer. By the way, DEXA-2017 proceedings have been published by Springer publishing house, they include 181 reports (articles), and 20 of them refer to the conference HoloMAS-2017. Moreover, the proceedings of DEXA-2017 forum are included into the global citation indexes Scopus and Web of Science,” Professor Victor N. Dubinin noted.
