ENTEP kick-off-meeting attended by PSU staff
On 6 – 7 March 2018, Sergei Vasin, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, and Konstantin Korolev, Head of the International Projects Department, participated in the kick-off-meeting within ENTEP: Enhancing Teaching Practice in Higher Education in Russia and China. The event was arranged at the Technische Universität Dresden (Germany).
The agenda of the meeting included the welcome speech delivered by Prof.Dr.Holger Kuße and presentations of partner-institutions. In addition, Elena Guseletova, PCI project coordinator, gave an overview of the project objectives and explained the details of interrelated work packages. Anne Kadolph, Project Manager of TUD European Project Centre, clarified the administrative and financial matters.
At the kick-off-meeting aneffective management structure (ENTEP Council) was set up, financial rules and control enforced, monitoring andevaluation procedures approved, conflicts management system designed.
The participants discussed the issues of building the project work groups, the activities of which are aimed at analysing current teaching practices, designing the improvement strategy, organizing training workshops, as well as implementing advanced teaching approaches and innovative methods at partner-institutions. In the consortium, PSU is responsible for the dissemination, sustainability and exploitation of the results obtained within the ENTEP project.
Moreover, the kick-off-meeting participants scheduled the project conferences and council meetings. They also discussed the development of the common strategy of the disseminationwork group and some practical arrangements associated withworkshops and trainings for academics and top managers.
