PSU representatives take part in meeting of World Biodiversity Association

Anton Esaulov, Associate Professor of the Department of Microbiology, Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases, and Andrey Tsyganov, research engineer of the scientific university laboratory “Molecular Ecology and Animal Systematics”, participated in the annual meeting of the World Biodiversity Association (WBA). The event was held at the University of Padova (Italy) from 22 to 26 April 2018.

The programme of the meeting included reports delivered by leading experts and devoted to topical issues of biodiversity conservation at sites of intense human-induced impact. In addition, public lectures for students of the University of Padova were delivered. The representatives of Penza State University also met with Italian colleagues for sharing experience and discussing the possibility of joint publications.
