ENTEP Top Managers Workshop attended by PSU staff
On 11 – 15 June 2018, Sergei Vasin, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, and Konstantin Korolev, Head of the International Projects Department, participated in the ENTEP Top Managers Professional Development Workshop. This session was held at Liverpool John Moores University (the UK) within the EU-funded Erasmus+ project.
The host university experts reported on the processes of learning and teaching at LJMU, as well as on research conducted in teaching and learning. In addition, they briefed their guests concerning engagement of individuals and student-centered practice strategy.
The workshop participants discussed the quality assurance procedures and approaches, which are used in Russian and Chinese education systems. Moreover, they focused on managing HE standards, evaluating teaching quality, and accreditation.
At the workshop, the top managers also considered the opportunity to organize learning and teaching conference for university staff that is aimed at sharing ongoing and best practices. The event covered the importance of having a centralized learning and teaching centre, which will train staff based on the developed strategies, and understanding its role in controlling professional development of academics.
