Kirill Nikolaev, PSU master student, took part in the international conference and exhibition NRW Nano Conference 2018
Kirill Nikolaev, a master student of the Faculty of Instrument Engineering, Information Technologies and Electronics, Polytechnic Institute, PSU, took part in the conference and exhibition NRW Nano Conference, which took place at the end of November, 2018, in Dortmund (Germany).
NRW Nano Conference is the biggest German scientific event with international participation in the field of nanotechnologies. It is held every two years in different cities of Germany and gathers more than 700 experts of science, industry and politics, who meet for two days to promote research and apply key nanotechnologies into practice. The conference theme included the issues of alternative energy, energy saving, functional electronics, and obtaining nanomaterials.
K. Nikolaev’s work is connected with research of ferromagnetic resonance of thin and thick films, the research work being conducted during the training at the University of Münster. K. Nikolaev’s research supervisors are E.A. Pecherskaya, head of Department of Data Measuring Equipment and Metrology, PSU, and S. Demokritov, Professor at the University of Münster (Germany).
Participation in the conference and exhibition became possible due to the scholarship of the President of the Russian Federation to study abroad in 2018/2019.
