PSU improved its position in Webometrics Ranking of World Universities

In the summer edition of Webometrics Ranking of World Universities, which evaluates the universities’ presence in the global web, Penza State University reinforced its positions by 70 in 6 months.

Penza State University took 54th position among Russian universities and 3029th among the world ones.

The first place among Russian universities is occupied (as before) by Moscow State University (216th place in the world). The global leaders are Harvad and Stanford Universities, as well as Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The other universities of our region were also included into the ranking. Penza State Technological University is 427th in the national segment, Penza University of Architecture and Construction is 445th, Penza State Agricultural Academy is 858th.

The methodology of the ranking is based on four criteria, each of which evaluates the efficiency of a university according to its positions on the Internet.
