Cooperation with Flensburg continues
The delegation from PSU visited European University of Flensburg within the framework of implementing the Erasmus+ academic mobility programme – “guest associate professors”. T.A. Razuvaeva, Head of the Language and Examination Centre; E.Yu. Aleshina, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages and Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages; O.A. Pavlova, associate professor at the Department of Foreign Languages and Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages delivered lectures and seminars for master’s degree students of the Kultur – Sprache – Medien programme and participated in the discussion of future projects and research plans.
The PSU representatives had a meeting with Prof. Monika Eigmüller, Vice-Rector for European and International Affairs, and Prof. Margot Brink, Vice-Rector for Studies and Teaching, and discussed the design and agreement of documents for accrediting the joint educational programme of double degrees planned to be implemented at KSM Department of European University of Flensburg and at the Department of Foreign Languages and Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages, Institute of Teacher Education, PSU. In the course of working meetings with the master’s degree programme supervisor, the disciplines to be jointly implemented next semester with the use of online-technologies were identified.
The representatives of the PSU delegation are co-performers of the DIREPA project under the work of the European consortium LEMEL. At European University of Flensburg a training workshop on how to encode media information with the use of Heurist programme was conducted. Besides, working meetings with the German University scientists interested in developing partner relations and implementing joint research projects were organized.
T.A. Razuvaeva, a coordinator of cooperation between PSU and Flensburg organizations, had a number of working meetings with the representatives of Flensburg University of Applied Sciences, DIAKO medical complex and St. Franziskus hospital. The agreement was reached to submit joint applications to RSF and DFG with the University scientists; plans were made to host students from the Medical Institute to have a training practice in the summer of 2020. Besides, at the meeting with Swetlana Krätzschmar, Peter Lorenzen and other members of the Society of Penza-Flensburg Friendship goals were set and plans were discussed on VII Flensburg-Penza Congress which will take place from 21 to 25 September, 2020, in Flensburg.
