The first group of PSU teachers completed their training under the ENTEP professional development course
23 trainees – PSU teachers and post-graduate students – successfully completed the professional development course “Enhancing teaching practice in terms of implementing the Bologna Process” at the Centre for Teaching and Learning Erasmus+. This course was made possible owning to the University’s participation in the international project under Erasmus+ Capacity Building “Enhancing Teaching Practice in Higher Education in RUSSIA and CHINA – ENTEP”.
The course teachers O.Androsova, T.Glotova. S.Vlazneva, I.Kolchugina, and T.Razuvaeva presented information on the main principles and tools of the Bologna process, student-centred teaching and learning approach (SCTL), innovative approaches and methods of learning outcomes assessment as well as modern pedagogical approaches and teaching methods.
On completion of the course the trainees filled in feedback questionnaires in which they assessed the classes and the obtained knowledge. All the trainees emphasized the importance of getting acquainted with the European best practices in teaching under the Bologna process.
Classes under the implementation of the international project will go on throughout 2020. Four more groups of teachers, post-graduate students and university staff are planned for taking the course.
Let’s note that within the framework of the project the University gained access to electronic library system IPR BOOKS of EBSCO (the largest aggregator of scientific resources of the world leading publishers) for the whole year.
